The 2025 KIA Carnival MPV is available in five trim levels: LX, LXS, EX, SX, and the premium SX Prestige. The LX comes with LED multireflector headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights, while the LXS adds stylish touches.
If you choose the SX or SX Prestige, you get power sliding rear doors and a smart power liftgate with auto-close functionality. Both trims ride on 19-inch alloy wheels in machined gloss black or black finishes. The SX Prestige adds dual sunroofs and roof rails in silver and dark chrome. All models feature a sculptural grille design, cube-shaped headlamps, and Star Map taillights. The Carnival measures 203 inches long, 89.2 inches wide, and stands 68.5 to 69.9 inches tall with roof rails.
Engine (Power)
Pop the hood of any 2025 Carnival and you'll find the same heart beating — a muscular 3.5-liter V-6 that pumps out 287 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 262 pound-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm. KIA pairs this motor with an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers smooth shifts. The front-wheel-drive setup gives you predictable handling that most drivers will find plenty capable in everyday situations.
The V-6 engine puts the Carnival near the top of its class for raw power, and the transmission lets you use all that power when needed but won't constantly hunt for gears during normal driving.

Every KIA Carnival can pull up to 3,500 pounds and comes with 6.8 inches of ground clearance, making it easy to tackle speed bumps.
Interior
The Carnival offers exceptional flexibility for families. Fold all seats down for 145.1 cubic feet of cargo space. With all seats up, you still have 40.2 cubic feet behind the third row for plenty of luggage. The EX and higher trims feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, and the SX Prestige adds a 12-speaker Bose system for premium sound.
With room for eight passengers, nobody feels squeezed. The SX Prestige offers VIP lounge seating with power-adjustable second-row chairs. Optional two-tone colors and wood accents create an upscale atmosphere, and practical features such as wireless charging keep everyone's devices ready. Dual sunroofs on the SX Prestige fill the cabin with natural light, making long trips more pleasant.
Safety Features
KIA packed the 2025 Carnival with safety features. All five rear seats include the LATCH system for child car seats, and every model includes forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction detection, plus blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alerts. Lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist help you maintain your path. Higher trims add navigation-based smart cruise control for easier highway drives, and the SX and SX Prestige models get a surround-view monitor for parking in tight spots.
